BigSpoon was created for true foodies, those who love to try new dishes and restaurants. BigSpoon helps you order your favorite dishes from different places in one order. No more adjusting for groups when ordering, everyone gets what they want.
The traditional food ordering apps have a major issue, not allowing users to order from multiple places in one order. This results in someone adjusting when deciding where to order from. There was also a need to educate investors and new users what the difference was between BigSpoon and others.
BigSpoon created a platform to allow users to order from different places in one order with other customizations as well. Simplifying the process of finding various restaurant options and providing an informative side to the website were the solutions required for BigSpoon Web Design.
Initial research focused on better understanding user’s needs related to ordering food from multiple places and how they consume information about a food website.
What products exist to order from multiple places at once?
How do users interact with existing products?
What are users current pain points with existing products?
Which features are essential to build trust?
A series of in-depth interviews were then conducted on 5 participants to further identify pain points, frustrations, needs, and desires with existing products to determine how BigSpoon could improve this experience.

Competitive analysis was conducted to identify competitor's strengths and weaknesses to inform BigSpoon's features and information structure.
After conducting user interviews, all the participants responses were synthesized to identity themes, opportunities, and features that BigSpoon could focus and improve upon.
A persona was built based on the data collected to help drive decision making and keep the product focused on solving users pain points, frustrations, and goals.
To kick-off the design process, quick sketches helped me get ideas on paper to establish which elements were necessary for each screen. Digital wireframes were then created for initial testing.
The primary user flow is the process of ordering food and learning about the brand. BigSpoon's simple information structure makes it easy to navigate and move through tasks.
Rough sketches were done to get my initial thoughts on paper and brainstorm new ideas for specific UI elements.
Using the feedback and insights gained from research, analysis and sketching, low-fidelity wireframes were created to begin user testing.
It was essential to create an experience that was in line with the experience of the app.
A usability study was conducted to determine where improvements could be made and identify new ideas to satisfy user expectations, needs, and desires.

Inspiration was drawn from fast food restaurants with a focus on being vibrant and fun while being simple. The UI design reflects the user's desire to have a clutter free, curated look and feel.
BigSpoon Web makes the process of ordering from multitple restaurants, simple and engaging. It also provides information about the brand and the services to gain people's trust. It also provides an easy way to track orders and connect with customer support.
