LinkHelp was created for individuals who are using LinkedIn to grow their careers and networks. For those who want to utilize their time by creating better content rather than keeping an eye on mundane tasks such as posting gon right time, searching for connections etc. LinkkHelp curates, personalizes, and streamlines the connection finding experience while helping users with other scheduled tasks.
LinkedIn is one of the best platforms for networking, finding jobs and crating a community. But the main issue with the platform is that it requires too many mundane and repetitive tasks. While there are multiple apps to automate these tasks, none successfully provide users with the information about all the features they want.
LinkHelp provides concise and clear information regarding all the features and price plans they have. Simplifying the process of finding the featurs someone would want before making the purchase is integral for customer satisfaction and trust.
Initial research focused on better understanding user’s needs related to finding information before making a decision.
What products exist for automating LinkedIn tasks?
How do users interact with existing products?
What are users current pain points with existing products?
Which features are essential to make a decision?
A series of in-depth interviews were then conducted on 5 participants to further identify pain points, frustrations, needs, and desires with existing products to determine how YUM could improve this experience.
All participants required clear feature listing to make a choice
Users wanted a clear indication of which features are available in which price plan
Users wanted easy access to contact the team regarding any issues
After conducting user interviews, all the participants responses were synthesized to identity themes, opportunities, and features that LinkHelp could focus and improve upon.
A persona was built based on the data collected to help drive decision making and keep the product focused on solving users pain points, frustrations, and goals.
To kick-off the design process, quick sketches helped me get ideas on paper to establish which elements were necessary for each screen. Low fidelity wireframes were then created for initial user testing.
The primary user flow is the process of buying the automation tool services. LinkHelp's simple information structure makes it easy to navigate and move through tasks.
Rough sketches were done to get my initial thoughts on paper and brainstorm new ideas for specific UI elements.
The UI design reflects the user's desire to have information about the product before making a choice.
